When our owners no longer wanted my mom, sister and I they called the Adamís County Animal Shelter to come and take us away. Thankfully the Dog warden cared enough to call HHGDR. (mom is Charlotte sister is Katie)
My sister was adopted the first week we were available for adoption but I unfortunately am just a plain old black with white markings and no one wanted me!
What difference did my color make? Aren't people suppose to be the intelligent ones and not judge by race or color? Do people not look at my big heart and gentle demeanor. I am happy that the wonderful people at the rescue are not prejudiced, other wise my mom and I both would have died just because we are black!!
Fortunately, I have been adopted by another family that did not mind I was black. I have a black sister as well, her name is Macy. We look almost identical well except I am a lot smaller, but not for long! Mom and Dad love us both and even let us have the couch!
