Beauty is Only Skin Deep!!

My Grandma says I am beautiful but yet I am never looked at!! When people do look at me they always just pat my head and then ask, who else can they see?

Don't they see I am a "GREAT" Great Dane? I could be the perfect dog but NO they won't take a second glance at me!! Yes, they want that big fawn with cropped ears!! Who cares if he would not work in their home all they see is looks!!!

I am so sick of people not looking at me for who I really am!!! Yes, I am a plain ole Dane. I was not made to suffer to have my ears cropped so that the "PUBLIC" would think I was more attractive!!

I am not "out of show lines" but I have a wonderful temperament! I love life and I live to love my very own forever family again, but until that day arrives I will love my family at the Rescue that does not care if I am tall or have the perfect build or ears cropped.

They love me for me, and they, unlike you, see my inner beauty. They, unlike you, know what being loved by a real Great Dane really is!!
