I was thrown out of a pickup truck in Columbus then left to lay and suffer for days before anyone called the Franklin County Animal Shelter. Then I had to lay in the shelter for 3 days waiting to see if my owners would come for me. When my stray time was up HHGDR was at the shelter to bring me to the rescue. The next morning I went to the vets to be x-rayed, click here to see the>> x-rays  As you can see on the x-rays the break was very bad and it had even started to heal. I was immediately rushed into surgery where the bone had to be re-broken and set properly. A rod was inserted to hold the bone in place. The rod was removed after 4 weeks. It took a while but it was worth the wait! I finally have my forever home and all is wonderful!!
