I was found roaming the busy streets of Hamilton County. A nice family took me in and tried unsuccessfully to find my owners. Joey was turned into the rescue when his owners moved and no longer wanted him. Joey’s name used to be Kujo because his owners wanted people to think he was mean. We now know he is nothing but a marshmallow! We both knew the feeling of rejection, but now we both know the feeling of love and security.

I was adopted first, and I showed my mom and dad that they could never find a better dog than a Saint. So much so that they adopted Joey to complete our family. Joey (a typical boy) has made our lives more interesting, but he is worth it! We are inseparable now, and that makes mom and dad happy.

Unfortunately Joey has crossed the bridge.

Here we are enjoying our backyard!
