Katrina

I was dumped on the busy streets of Columbus and left to fend for myself. Luckily I was picked up and taken to the Franklin County Animal Shelter to serve my stray time and of course that was a waste of time because my owners did not come for me! The wonderful people at the shelter called HHGDR to come for me and as soon as my stray time was up I was brought to the Rescue.

The Rescue named me Katrina because, like the dogs on the Gulf Coast, I'm homeless through no fault of my own. The difference is their owners are also homeless and they wouldn't be homeless if not for that stupid hurricane! Also like the Katrina dogs I had to ride to the Rescue with 2 other homeless dogs!

I guess I have a lot in common with the Katrina Dogs, everyone wants a Katrina Dog! I was adopted as soon as I was available. I now have my very own family!

Okay Mom where is dinner!!
