My original owners purchased me from a backyard breeder and were told a lot of stories, such as a Dane puppy never plays rough with small children, and a Dane puppy never chews, and even a Dane puppy never play bites.  My owners really loved me and were excellent owners but with the small children in the home they just couldn’t handle me too.  It was a hard decision but they gave me to the HHGDR to find me a home while I was still a puppy.

I am a very lucky girl because I was adopted by a wonderful family who knew what to expect from a puppy.
