My owners were building a home in Meigs County, and one day they left and never returned. For months I roamed the countryside, finding food and shelter where I could, until one day a nice man came and took me to safety.   When my owners could not be found he contacted HHGDR who agreed to take me and help me to find a forever home just like they did my sister Allie.

I was not as lucky to find a home as quickly as my sister. I had the misfortune of being a plain black Dane and if that was not enough I had to slip and fall so I had to have surgery on my knee! But ya know even though it took a while it was worth the wait!! I NOW have my forever home and it is perfect!!!
