I have been in and out of shelters most of my life! My last home I was kept chained outside to a doghouse. I am terrified of storms, so one night when the storms were worse than normal, I broke the chain and ran off. I ended up at the Brown County Animal Shelter the next morning. My owner had changed his phone number, so they were unable to contact him. The shelter posted out on Facebook that if anyone knew him to let him know I was at the shelter. He wasted no time coming for me although he was upset with me. Anyway, all the people on Facebook were telling him what a bad owner he was and well to make a long story short, Grandma at HHGDR was reading the post and finally she told my owner that if he did not want me to just bring me to her! Well, he did just that!! The next day I arrived at Harlequin Haven!! Her plan was to work me through my issues and place me up for adoption, but I have 1 issue that Grandma says makes me a less than a desirable dog for adoption. I have extreme food aggression. Not only will I go after another dog if he/she comes after my food but humans as well. So, Grandma said she can deal with my food aggression, so I am just staying here! Of course, I am happy as a bug in a rug cause I live in her house and sleep on a nice bed and have a TV to watch!! Plus I love the AC in the summer and heat in the winter!!Life is perfect!!

Please can you spare a few dollars to help the Rescue continue to help me and other Dogs like me? It would be greatly appreciated. Without the Rescue who knows where we would have ended up!!
