Monica hiking for the Danes 

March 22, 2012 - Monica says goodbye to Pharaoh and leaves for Georgia to begin her hike.

March 25, 2012 9:00 AM - Monica and her friend Jonathan registered at Springer Mountain in Georgia and began their hike! Go Monica!!!

March 28, 2012 - Monica's journey continues

 
April 3, 2012 - North Carolina and the journey continues

April 8, 2012 - Monica & Jonathan have hiked 120 miles!!

   
April 9, 2012 - Monica and Jonathan have hiked 138 miles and her quest to raise much needed funds for the homeless Danes continues.

April 13, 2012 - Monica and Jonathan have hiked 180 miles!!

April 19, 2012 - Monica and Jonathan are in the Smoky Mountains and should arrive on Saturday to Hartford TN. at the Standing Bear Hostel.

May 6, 2012 - Monica and Jonathan are almost to Damascus, VA.

Arrived at the Tennessee - Virginia State line

May 13, 2012 - Arrived at Damascus, VA and continuing the journey

June 7, 2012 - Monica is at "The Knob" in southern VA.

June 12, 2012 - Monica and friends are just south of Roanoke, VA.

July 2, 2012 - Monica and friends are now in Maryland and have hiked
992 miles and have another 1,168 to go!! The Danes are rooting for you!!

July 30, 2012 -  Leaving the Delaware Water Gap

August 7, 2012 - Arrived at Bear Mountain in New York.
