Although I should be depressed because my owners no longer wanted me or my brother Bentley (Bentley is with Miracle House Animal Rescue) I am actually happy!! My life was spent outside in a dog house. NOW, I am INSIDE and sleeping on a big comfy dog bed. I have tons of toys to play with AND I am getting tons of loving too!!! It is the best!! Unfortunately I do have a lump on my butt that has to be removed and my Grandma at the rescue has already made my appointment! I will have it removed on November 3rd so please think good thoughts for me.
Update 11/3: I had the growth removed today and it was much larger then anyone expected. The vet was able to get wide margins, and hopefully that will be enough. Please continue to think good thoughts for me, please. I will let you know what the biopsy says when we get it back.
Update 11/13: The results came back on my growth it was a benign tumor. Dr. Cheryl Harris Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Oncology looked at the histopath report today and told Grandma that it is a slow growing tumor and may or may not come back, but if it does it should just be removed again. With that great news comes the next great news!!! I am NOW available for adoption!!! I am a very loving and affectionate Dane so if you don't want to snuggle and be kissed you don't want me!
Please can you spare a
few dollars to help the Rescue continue to help me and other Danes like
me? It would be greatly appreciated. Without the Rescue who knows
where we would have ended up!!
