I was found roaming the country roads in South Western Kentucky and was taken to the local animal shelter. When my stray time was up a wonderful rescue (Molly's Mutts) adopted me. I had a very bad infection in my paw and after months of antibiotics it was decided my leg needed to be amputated. Unfortunately not many people were looking for a Dane with Molly's Mutts so they decided I needed to go to a Great Dane Rescue and they contacted Harlequin Haven to see if they would take me and well the rest is history!
I am settling in nicely, I have tons of toys, a really soft bed and several new friends my size to play with!
Update: I just thought I would let you all see how nicely I am settled in and let you know that I am now ready for adoption!!! I am a very happy girl especially when I get to lay on the couch!!! Is there room on your couch for me?

Update: I started gaining weight and my hair started falling out. Grandma and my vet were baffled for a bit I now have been diagnoised with Seasonal Flank Alopecia. I am being treated and responding to the treatment. I am taking melatonin, who would have thought!!

Update: Life just keeps getting better!! My hair is mostly back in and I am feeling great!! I would love to be adopted and be an only dog but if that isn't possible I love, puppies, small dogs and kitty cats so living with them would not be bad!!

Please can you spare a few dollars to help the Rescue continue to help me and other Danes like me? It would be greatly appreciated. Without the Rescue who knows where we would have ended up!!
