I was brought to Harlequin Haven when my dad became ill, and my family was moving in with my human sister. I have not seen a veterinarian since I was a puppy, and I am almost 11 years old, so I was behind on everything! Within hours of arriving, I had my nails cut (that was scary but oh do my paws feel so much better), my ears cleaned (I have never enjoyed anything as much as getting my ears cleaned below are pics from 1 ear) and was heartworm tested, vaccinated, and had my blood pulled!! I was also started on a NSAID to help me stand better and reduce the pain, wow has that helped! Hopefully, I can be spayed really soon as I am tired of these heat cycles and false pregnancies. I am a very sweet but tiny girl; I weigh only 83 pounds.

Update 6:20:Wow it is amazing what a few days of clean ears, shorter nails (Grandma says I need another trimming of my nails) and especially the NSAID!! Okay I had no clue what an NSAID was, but wow did that little pill make a difference. Plus, I have already had it reduced from twice a day to just once a day!! Grandma says less is better as long as I feel good and YEP, I feel good!!  Check out my new pictures below!!

Update 7/2: Well I have some great news!! I have been spayed and I never have to have another litter or puppies!!! PLUS I am NOW ready to find my forever home!!! Okay so who wants an old lady that has a LOT to say!!!

Please can you spare a few dollars to help the Rescue continue to help me and other Danes like me? It would be greatly appreciated. Without the Rescue who knows where we would have ended up!!
