Alina Interested in adopting me? Click here for our >> Adoption Procedures As you will see from my pictures below, I have not had an easy life and most say I should hate people, but I know not all people are cruel and hateful. I spent most of my life as a breeding machine, not much different from a puppy mill. Luckily one day my owner left and left me with her Ex. He didn't want me and knew I needed help, so he surrendered me to the Rescue Village aka Geauga Humane Society. I had lick granulomas on both my front legs a 2-pound fatty mass hanging from my mammary chain as well as I was underweight. They immediately got me medical care and on the road to recovery!! Life had never been so good!! Then one day they noticed I was starting to stress and since my road to recovery is still a month or so longer they decided I should come to Harlequin Haven where I would not have to live in a dog run and where I could run and play with other Danes, I arrived today and so far I LOVE it here!! Alexa and I are sharing a room, and we have tons of toys as well as two soft beds each and yep food!! As you can see from the pictures below I still have more weight to gain as well as my legs need to continue healing. Update 8/4: Just a quick update. The pressure sores are slowly healing but my happy
tail would get healed then I would bust it open all over again so
Grandma and I decided I would be better off without it. So, my tail was
amputated on Wednesday and it is healing nicely. Paws crossed I should
be available for adoption soon!!! Update 9/28: I got new pictures check them out below!!! Please can you spare a
few dollars to help the Rescue continue to help me and other Danes like
me? It would be greatly appreciated. Without the Rescue who knows
where we would have ended up!!
