My owners dumped me to fend for myself and when I was roaming the roads looking for food a nice person picked me up and took me to the Franklin County Animal Shelter. After my stray time was up a nice lady came for me and I was transported to Harlequin Haven. I was afraid at first but the nice lady kept telling me it would be okay. When I arrived at the rescue I was given a bowl of food, toys and a really soft bed. I only weigh 90 pounds and am about 15 pounds underweight, so I have to gain weight before I can find my forever home. Until then I am enjoying having a soft bed and 3 meals a day.

Update: I now weigh 100 pounds and Grandma says I can start looking for my forever home!! Okay wonderful forever home where are you??? I am a very sweet boy and I love to play and snuggle!! What else could anyone want?

Update December 22: I thought I had found my forever home almost 1 1/2 years ago but I was wrong!! Instead this Christmas I am again homeless. Two months ago my parents had a new baby and the rest is history! Maybe someday I will find a real forever home, one that will love me no matter what happens in their lives.

Please can you spare a few dollars to help the Rescue continue to help me and other Danes like me? It would be greatly  appreciated. Without the Rescue who knows where we would have ended up!!
