Molly I was adopted from the rescue years ago and mom and dad sent the letter below so you would know that the work you do is worth it!! Thanks to all Molly!!
We adopted a merle Dane from you about 71/2 years ago. Molly (new
photos attached). She has been the most wonderful addition to our
family. I truly could not imagine life without her. She is now almost
8 years old, has arthritis in her hips and some severe food allergies
which we have been able to take care of with a specialty food Eukanuba
Fish and Potatoes. I know, sounds awful but she loves it and compared
to symptoms we are very glad she now feels so good. I know you hear so
many horror stories on a daily basis that I just wanted to assure you
that this one has found a good home. We moved to Northern California
(Bay area) about 3 years ago and the weather certainly agrees with her
(she never liked the summers in Ohio). She goes on a 1-2 mile walk
with a group of other dogs in a national park every day (yes, EVERY
day, the disappointment is just not worth it if she doesn't go - you
know Danes!) and she spends the rest of her day laying in the sun
on her bed with Dad working in the next room. I think
this is close to dog heaven. Anyway she and her 2 kitty siblings are
certainly the focus of our lives. Thank you for all you do for these
dogs on a daily basis, without you we would not have her and that
would be our loss. Take care.
