My owners purchased me from a BYB (backyard breeder) when I was a few months old. Then when they found they had to get rid of me the breeder would not take me back. They then contacted HHGDR who agreed to take me. The Rescue will do what my breeder wouldn't-- HHGDR will be there for me for the rest of my life!

I am looking for a special home that is athletic or would like to do agility with me! The rescue says I would be a great agility dog! Would you like a dog to run and play with well I may just be that girl!!!

Update December 25, 2007: As many of you are aware I love my Grandma at the rescue and yes she kept saying I was available for adoption but she knew in her heart I was not going anywhere! My severe separation anxiety made me basically unadoptable to anyone but her and besides I love her and love living here!! I also love helping her and going everywhere with her. So I want to Thank Santa for giving me the present of calling Grandma, Mom and knowing I will never be dumped again!!  BTW, Santa where are my McDonalds Gift Certificates I asked for????

Please can you spare a few dollars to help the Rescue continue to help other Danes like me it would be greatly  appreciated.
