Lance

My owners turned me into the Franklin County Animal Shelter when they said they could no longer afford to feed and care for me and were losing their home.

I was lucky even though the rescue was full and so was the animal shelter, the rescue and shelter decided to squeeze one more in! I came to the rescue the next day! I am about 15 pounds underweight and need to gain my weight prior to being ready for adoption.       

When I came to the rescue I was very depressed and just wanted to die. It took quite a bit for the rescue to convince me that I wanted to live that there would be a forever home out there that would want me at my age. Well to make a long story a bit shorter I asked the rescue to change my name so I would feel loved and so I can forget my past. My name is no longer Cosmo it is now Sir Lancelot!! My friends of course call me Lance.        

I have decided that I will stay at the rescue and be a sanctuary dog. I love Grandpa at the rescue and do not want to trust a new family.

Please can you spare a few dollars to help the Rescue continue to help me and other Danes like me it would be greatly  appreciated. Without the rescue who knows where we would have ended up!!
